Not long ago a fairy called Anfimia was destined by Titania (the Queen of all fairies) to take care of the Garden owned by an old little man that had a very handsome boy for a nephew, the boy had black hair, and was very nostalgic. His name was Damián, and he went out all afternoons with his book under an arm till very late at night.
In one of those moments the boy raised his sight to observe the colors the sunset had to bring, and when he looked towards the rose bush that lay ahead he saw a beautiful young woman that shone curiously by a light that flowed within her body, the young woman tried to hide between the leaves trying to avoid being seen.
-Who are you?- Asked the young boy...
Surprised he could see her she answered:
-My name is Anfimia-...
-Do tell me Anfimia, What where you doing hiding in my uncle's garden?
Anfimia could not answer, she simply could not believe that a mere mortal like him could be able to have such singular beauty.
-I am a fairy, and I am destined to protect your uncle's garden-...
Damian smiled an incredolous smile, it seemed very odd to him that she kept hiding in the bushes, and with what she said, well, it made the situation odder. Suddenly when the beautiful woman turned the boy noticed some lights that grew from her back. Smiling at him she said:
-Now you see I do not lie-...
-You can read mi mind?-...asked the boy taken aback.
-Just sense- she told him smiling a very warm smile.
And so this is how they spent their afternoons, smiling and chatting, walking and playing; till one day, Anfimia was called by Titania, she had something very serious to discuss with her...
"Elfs, Gnomes and Dwarfs have seen you sharing with a human, a young boy, but there is another thing that concerns me, Hvae you fallen for this mortal?"
Anfimia knew she could not lie, at least not about this, so she answered:
-Yes dear Queen, it is true, and yet when I realized where my feelings where heading it was to late to go back, I cannot change them-.
"Sweet daughter, as much as I have developded a certain attachment to you, this I cannot allow, you know we fairies are forbidden to feel anything for the mortals we take care of, and if this ever happens, the punishment is written..."
And so Anfimia was cursed to become a ray of moon who could only caress her love when he came out and called for her:
-My beautiful Anfimia, What has become of you?, Why have you left me?. Something strange has happened to me that only at night do I feel that you are by mi side-.
And so, calling her name he would look between his incle's rose bush allowing every thorn to penetrate his heart.
As Titania saw the inmense pain Anfimia and her great love suffered she could only allow one thing:
"The lovers will be able to see each other when the rays of the moon shine on the very place they first met.
And so, you can see this young lover in the same spot of the garden, next to the rose bush, waiting for his love to arrive at night and fill his lonely heart.
