Empanadas

Ingredients for the filling:

1k ground beef
2 onions chopped
2 fresh garlics
1 laurel leaf
1/2 green olives
1/2 cup raisins
Some pinon nuts, to taste.
1 hard egg
1/2 a teaspoon cummin
Salt and pepper to taste.
Olive oil, as much as you may need
2 packages of puff pastry, already cut in circles


Directions:

Fry the garlic till it's golden with a little olive oil and the laurel.Toss the garlic. Fry the meat in the same oil olive oil, (just because it finishes cooking while you fry the empanadas), remove the meat and fry the onion till it gets transparent. Except for the egg add the rest of the ingredients. Let cool for a bit. Chopp the egg.Place a large spoon of filling in each of the circle puff pastries, and add a little bit of the chopped egg, just to give it color, close the pastry and wet the borders, press down with a fork. Fry them.

Tips:
You can find the puff pastry in your local market, or if you have some difficulty you can substitute it with mexican masa, the one they use to make tortillas.
Cover the empanadas with a towel, so that the dough doesn't dry out will foy are forming them.
